Upcoming IT Park to Generate 15,000 Jobs in Federal Capital According to Ministry of Science and Technology representatives, work will begin this month on the Information Technology (IT) Park’s main structure in Islamabad. The federally funded Information Technology (IT) Park would provide at least 15,000 jobs for IT workers, students, and experts. According to the details, all necessary preparations have been made, and the tendering process is almost finished. The Capital Development Authority (CDA) and the Environmental Protection Agency have previously given their approval to MoITT’s building design (EPA). Syed Amin Ul Haque, the Minister of IT and Telecommunication, laid the park’s foundation stone on Chak Shahzad last year with the goal of realising the Digital Pakistan Vision.
